People ask me a lot of questions about Voodoo Doctors.

1. Do they exist?
YES they most definitely do. And just like police or lawyers or painters there are good ones, skilled ones and there are bad ones and stupid ones.

2. Can the voodoo doctor really heal people?
Yes. Often. BUT… Not every time.
They can heal amazing things that normal medical doctors currently can not BUT… They can not heal everything. Sorry.

3. Does a voodoo doctor have the powers that people say they do?
Yes and No.
People say that they have all kinds of powers and different Voodoo Doctors have different abilities.

   

4. Can a Voodoo Doctor really make a Zombie?
Some can make human zombies but it is a very rare
ability, that takes some knowledge of chemistry and biology and a LOT of magical energy.

And the Zombies that they do NOT act like TV Zombies. They are more like stupid, dirty, idiots and they tend to fall apart pretty quickly. (I don’t mean fall apart like on the movies. More they just stink and then fall down and stop moving when the animate energy stops.) Sorry to disappoint but zombies do not really last very long as zombies. And since they are so much work to make it is really only something that is done to freak people out as a fear tactic.

If a person died a natural death then it is VERY VERY unlikely that the Voodoo doctor can make them into a zombie. Voodoo doctors can normally only make zombies under very very specific conditions and they normally have to kill the person themselves to do it.

5. Can I “Frank” make a zombie?
I do not know. I know how but I am not about to test that knowledge. Yuck. I prefer the more positive aspects of magic.
